Sharon Pearson was gracious enough to teach a class on bread making and how to make jam. Participants went away knowing how to make a basic bread dough that was very versatile. She showed them how to turn the dough into dinner rolls, Cinnamon rolls and scones. The recipe could also be used for a loaf.
While the dough was rising, they learned how to make strawberry jam in a jar-using a water bath. At the end they also learned the process for making raspberry freezer jam. Participants were excited to take home their new knowledge and especially to take some home to their families for breakfast the next day.
